The shot puts the spectator in the uncomfortable position of the institutionalways off camera, who applies rules and precepts to the letter (the hijab worn incorrectly as revealed by a surveillance camera, the harassment of a potential employer towards a young woman, the “forbidden” name to give to a newborn).

In this photograph of an incomprehensible world close to ruin salvation comes from poetry (“Versi terre” is the original title), while outside the city, the world, sinks.
