KaDeWe Group: Oberpollinger gets new boss

Fiona Westenberg takes over the management of the Oberpollinger.

Westenberg will take up the role of general manager on January 1, the KaDeWe Group, the operator of the Munich luxury department store, announced on Tuesday. It comes from our own ranks. Before that, she had been Head of Sales for the fashion department at the Berlin luxury department store KaDeWe since 2016.

Before Westenberg came to the KaDeWe Group, she worked in leading positions in human resources for companies such as Delivery Hero and Peek & Cloppenburg KG.

Westenberg’s successor comes from Breuninger

Alexander Repp, who has been in charge of Oberpollinger since 2015, is moving to Globus, the Swiss sister company of the KaDeWe Group, where he will assume the position of Director Retail at the beginning of January. He is responsible for all Globus stores and reports to Globus CEO Franco Savastano.

“We would like to thank Alexander Repp for his outstanding achievements over the past few years and wish him the best of luck in his new, challenging role at Globus,” said André Maeder, CEO of the KaDeWe Group. “We are proud to have one of our top executives in a senior position in the European Luxury Department Store Group.”

The new Head of Sales Fashion at KaDeWe is Denise Senning-Bernhard. She has held the position since Tuesday. Prior to that, she held various management positions in sales at Stuttgart fashion retailer Breuninger for ten years.
