Now we’re really here: Cristiano Giuntoli is one step away from Juventus, in the next few hours he will be able to sign his new contract that will bind him to the Juventus club for five seasons. This is because in Naples the now ex blue ds and Aurelio De Laurentiis reached an agreement to interrupt the contract a year before the natural expiry of 30 June 2024. Remaining within the 2022-23 season: a non-trivial detail, because it will allow Juventus to register Giuntoli without having to ask for any federal exemption for the new sports season.

Giuntoli, as envisaged by the corporate reorganization of Juventus, will be the new manager of the sports area, reporting to Francesco Calvo (general manager) and Maurizio Scanavino (managing director). While Giovanni Manna will continue to operate on the market in the role of sporting director of the first team with the collaboration of Claudio Chiellini, who has just returned to Continassa and is expected to head the second team and loans. For now, no other new faces are expected to follow the new manager.
