Justice Minister Van Tigchelt takes away wages from convicted priests: “Only wages for those with a clean criminal record” | Domestic

Convicted priests who cannot produce a clean criminal record will soon no longer receive wages. This was decided by Minister of Justice Paul Van Tigchelt (Open Vld) and has just been approved by the Council of Ministers, the HLN research cell knows. For example, taxpayers should no longer have to pay for the wages of priests who committed sexual abuse.
