English acting legend Judi Dench, 88, recently had a strange incident. He allegedly stole a deer.

It all started when a deer jumped Dench and her now-deceased spouse, by Michael Williams, in front of the car. Dench got out of the car and tried to scare the deer back into the park where it had come from.

The next day, Dench was contacted by the police and informed that he was accused of stealing the deer. Someone had seen Dench startling the animal and assumed that the situation had gone so far that Dench was trying to catch the deer, not to drive it back to its natural hunting grounds.

The actor recalled what happened at the Stratford Literature Festival.

– Michael replied to the police that yes, we moved on the same hunting grounds as William Shakespeare In the 16th century. The only difference is that we didn’t hunt the deer, we drove it to freedom, Dench told about the course of events.

– I couldn’t help but mention that we delivered the deer to Tesco (store), where the royal family could pick it up for their table, the actor continued.

He also revealed in an interview at the festival that he is working on a book about the Shakespeare plays he performed.
