Hato celebrated his 18th birthday last Thursday. The defender has already played 52 games in the first team of the club from Amsterdam. He already wore the captain’s armband a few times when Steven Bergwijn and Steven Berghuis were missing. Hato made his debut in the Dutch national team at the end of last year during a match against Gibraltar.
Hato has been playing for Ajax since 2018, which took him over from Sparta Rotterdam. He has repeatedly stated in recent months that he has not finished learning at Ajax.
