Civilization
Jan has a strong opinion, but he says he would never call people a cancer. “So then I certainly don’t expect something like that from someone who has been preaching ‘civilization’ for a few years now.”
He continues in his piece to Joop: “As far as I’m concerned, your lack of good taste falls through a lower limit when you call Geert Wilders ‘a tumor’.”
Censorship
According to Jan, it is also ridiculous that Joop calls the cuts to public broadcasting censorship. “Just to refresh your memory: ‘censorship’ is the government banning certain programs or channels.”
Then bluntly: “Either you are a scary populist. Or you are completely ready for admission to an institution where the ‘guests’ do not receive the code for the combination lock.”
