Jonas Andersson: Juhani Tyrväinen films

Jonas Andersson, who won the Finnish championship in Kärpi, criticized Juhani Tyrväinen very strongly.

Finnish striker Juhani Tyrväinen has been criticized in Sweden.

Tyrväinen scored the opening goal of Luleå on Thursday when the team faced Frölunda in the SHL semi-finals. Luleå won the match 2-0 and is one win away from the final.

Expert of the Swedish broadcasting company SVT, winner of the Finnish championship in Kärpi Jonas Andersson still distributes twigs to Tyrväinen.

Frölundan Mats Rosseli Olsen gave Tyrväinen a crossbar in the match. The Finnish striker fell after the attack.

OIsen got cold from the crossbar and Tyrväinen’s unsportsmanlike behavior. The jury found the Finnish striker to have overthrown him Lapland more.

– He’s a classic confuser or provocative, why would you say that. Tyrväinen searches for situations, gives the opponent a little (run) and gets it back himself. That’s when he crashes like a cone or a house of cards, Andersson tells SVT.

– I don’t like it in his game.

Andersson says he likes how Tyrväinen tries to get under the opponent’s skin. He is terrified of filming instead.

– I strongly oppose his exaggeration and filming. They can be seen later in the video.

However, Tyrväinen plays a big role in Luleå. He plays in the same chain of his team’s toughest scorers Linus Omarkin and Pontus Andreasson with.

Tyrväinen has scored 2 + 2 in six playoff games. In the regular season, the Finn scored 11 goals and gave 19 assists.

– I have to underline how important he is to Luleå. He pushes over in every way, but is a repulsive opponent, Andersson comments.

– He is a player he loves on his own team, but as an opponent he is a nuisance.

Tyrväinen has represented Luleå since 2019–2020. He was in the Lion to win the 2019 World Championship.

Finns also play in Luleå Julius Honka, Sami Lepistö and Olli Nikupetteri.

SVT’s Andersson played in Finland in the ranks of Ilves, HPK and Kärppi. In Kärpi he won the Finnish championship and silver, in HPK bronze.

His career ended in 2015.

Luleå leads the semi-finals 3-1. It has a place to break on Saturday.
