The freestyle UFC promotion got a new heavyweight champion early Sunday morning Finnish time.

Regarded as the world’s most feared fist hero Jon Jones35, returned to the ring after a three-year hiatus and knocked down his opponent Cyril Ganen in just two minutes.

Jones used to dominate in the lower heavyweight division, but had a couple of years of wild bulking and now fought in the biggest weight class.

The leap among bigger men was not visible. The American quickly took Gane to the mat and choked him with a guillotine choke. The French bundle of muscle was completely unarmed.

Jones has never been beaten in his freestyle career. He suffered his only loss in 2009 after hitting an opponent with his elbow against the rules. The verdict is considered highly questionable.

After the match, Jones challenged another UFC legend, who had also been on the sidelines for two years Stipe Miocic. The match is planned to be held in July.

Big bang

In the second main match of the UFC evening, a huge surprise was seen when the Mexican Alexa Grasso29, won the World Championship title in women’s fly From Valentina Shevchenko.

Kyrgyz Shevchenko had never lost in that weight class in his career. He had defended his title belt seven times in a row and looked completely invincible.

In the fourth round of the match, Grasso got a half choke hold on his opponent, and put all his strength into the game. That was enough.

Shevchenko felt that he had dominated the match up to that point. He said he wanted a rematch from Grasso.
