Todd Phillips shared the first photo from the Joker: Folie à Deux shoot. After much restructuring in the DC universe, the director has made it clear that at least the sequel to “Joker” (2019), in which Joaquin Phoenix will once again play the leading role, is not a rumour.

With the description “Day 1. Our boy. #joker,” Phillips shared the following photo on Sunday (December 11) of the Joker getting his beard shaved in a barber chair:

It remains to be seen whether Arthur Fleck is still in the Arkham Psychiatric Hospital in the shared photo. According to rumours, however, he should escape at the beginning of the sequel in order to then commit further crimes in freedom.
In addition, it will be musical on the screens from October 2nd, 2024, because the announced spin-off will be a musical. Lady Gaga will play Harley Quinn.
