In the meantime, it has become known that Johnny will not return to the Oranjezomer later in the summer; He will be succeeded by Thomas van Groningen. “That is just a really nice guy. I think he is a breath of fresh air in the media landscape. He is an incredibly good clearer in terms of politics.”

What about Hélène Hendriks? “On the one hand, she is doing very well, she is mentally very strong, but it is also a sportswoman, someone who just wants to get back to work. If your head wants to go through, but your body says no, I can imagine that it is quite frustrating.”
“I have daily contact with Hélène. He is eating at home. Of course he would have wanted to start much earlier, and because she is not yet able to do that, she bombards me daily with apps, emails and ideas for the program. Ideas for guests and perspectives. I am very happy with that, because she has more often chopped with this ax.”
