American actress Jimmy Shaw has died. Shaw died on October 11 at the age of 59.
Shaw died of pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. It was done to him a risky surgery in 2023 that failed. He started chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Sometimes the cancer was already in remission until it recurred.
Born in Los Angeles, Shaw began his acting career with small supporting roles, for example Beverly Hills 90210 and Will & Grace in series. At the turn of the 21st century he settled permanently in Spain and there he began to gain a real foothold in the TV world.
He has been seen, among other things, in series La que se avecina, Águila Roja and Cuéntame cómo pasó.
Shaw was also seen in a supporting role in a Finnish film directed by Dome Karukoski Tom of Finland. He played a policeman in the film about the artist Touko Laaksose.
