Jens van ‘t Wout conquers second European title in the 1500 meters, silver ahead of Sven Roes

Short tracker Jens van ‘t Wout has won the European title in the 1500 meters for the second time in Dresden. In a final with three Dutchmen, Van ‘t Wout, previously champion in 2023, was the fastest. Compatriot Sven Roes and Belgian Stijn Desmet finished joint second. For the 25-year-old Roes it was his first individual medal at a European Championship. Daan Kos finished fifth.
