The special construction has the shape of a sofa and is not only an art object, but can also be used effectively as seating furniture. Nollet sees applications in hospitals, for example.
The artist worked approximately 400 hours on the project. The different ages and wear of the basketballs also gave the seat a unique color palette.
With this striking work of art, Nollet gives discarded sports materials a second life and adds another striking creation to his oeuvre.
