A few minutes after the end of the gigantic biathlon showdown for the overall World Cup of women, the inferior Lou JeanMonnot has protected the lucky winner Franziska Preuss. Immediately after the finish, the French woman proved enormous sports spirit with a post on social media.
After her defeat in the fight for the overall World Cup against Franziska Preuß, Lou JeanMonnot presented herself as an outstanding loser.
Just a few seconds after the finish line, the French posted a picture on her Instagram channel, which she shows when the German hugs.
JeanMonnot wrote about the recording: “This is the only thing that is about. Congratulations, Champion!” She posted a heart emoji.
JeanMonnot does not blame Prussia for the fall
A little later, the unfortunate loser presented herself in Mixed Zone in a similar way, in which she did not want to blame Prussia for the fall at the final round.
“She closed the door for me in a normal way. If I had been it, I would have done exactly the same thing,” said JeanMonnot, who was sorry that she was able to deliver a not even more dramatic finish.
“I have the feeling that I ruined it,” she said of her fall after the race had run prematurely. “I thought I would have allowed me to take a meter ahead of me that would have allowed me to take the curve at the apex,” she analyzed her serious mistake, which cost her the possible victory in the overall World Cup.
After the finish line, the French team thought briefly about a protest, but in the view of the video images the team looked at it. Stéphane Bouthiaux later indicated that JeanMonnot fell on its own and that the result of the race would therefore be accepted.
