Jasper Dejaegher wins Ghent-Staden, opening of Cup…

Ghent-Staden opened the Belgian Cup and Jasper Dejaegher was the strongest. The ex-professional of Team Flanders Baloise rode away together with ten others in the big round to the cobblestones of the Steenstraat. The leading group was further thinned out in the local rounds in Staden. The four of them sprinted for the victory and it went to Jasper Dejaegher, faster than Yentl Vandevelde and Guillaume Seye.
