Janne Pesonen43, work as sports director of HIFK’s league team has ended.
About that was informed on Tuesday. The former top player was hired by HIFK in May 2024.
The club says that the decision to leave was made by mutual understanding.
– I want to thank the club, and above all the people I have been able to work with on a daily basis. I want to give the club peace of mind, which is why I will not comment further on this at this stage, Pesonen states.
Pesonen’s successor is unknown.
Until a new sports director is hired, the task is divided between the head coach Olli Jokinenof the Sports Adviory Board Mika Kortelainen and CEO Ilkka Kortesluoma.
