Jandino Asporaat attacked in Revu, Michella Kox: ‘Not funny!’

After the major media storm about his chicken tent, Jandino Asporaat gets a big kick from Nieuwe Revu. “Chicken tastes like cum,” reads the screaming headline. And what does Michella Kox say?

What a fuss for Jandino Asporaat: after years he finally opens his own chicken joint, he gets all kinds of shit thrown at him from the media. It all started with a reporter from De Telegraaf, who came to take a look at that store and had a lot of people in front of the camera complaining about the high prices. “47 euros!”

‘Don’t mess around!’

However, according to Jandino, it is all framing of the media. 47 euros for a menu? “It’s not true! I have to say that right away. Look, people all want you to do well until you do well. (…) What happens then is when envy starts, like: this is not possible, we are going to stop this,” he says in the talk show NandoLeaks.

And despite his complaints about the media, Nieuwe Revu is now getting over it once again. ‘Criticism of Jandino Asporaat’s FC Kip: ‘Chicken tastes like seeds’, the headline reads magazine big. “Like a headless chicken, Jandino Asporaat opened the chicken restaurant FC Kip, which turned out to be too small after a week. After the reopening, however, it appears that the chicken is not eating…

Lots of misery

Jandino’s chicken doesn’t taste that good, according to the magazine. “Whether it was the grease filters above the grill or dormant filters on social media, suddenly the success story was quickly destroyed and a lot of misery was left in the comments.”

De Revu, like Boulevard, notes that the review rating of Jandino’s chicken business has increased explosively in just a few hours. “As if Asporaat had just done a Dotannetje with a troll army or by encouraging people to write good reviews. The comedian himself denies this in every way.”

Michelle lashes out

As icing on the cake, Michella Kox can also take a swipe at Jandino. “No, I won’t go to his restaurant. That’s in Rotterdam, I’m from Arnhem. If I were in the area, I would definitely take a look out of curiosity. I know him as a comedian, but I don’t find him funny, it’s not my humor.”

She concludes: “Tastes differ as to what people find funny or not funny. I don’t think it’s funny what he does, I don’t care much for characters and such.”
