Jan Versteegh gets a pretty striking blow from Aran Bade. The entertainment expert of RTL Boulevard attacks the presenter because of his somewhat stupid program Let’s Play Ball. “Hopeless!”
Let’s Play Ball is the latest ‘spectacle show’ from SBS 6 in which C-stars such as René Froger and Fajah Lourens and her beautician run on a meter-high ball. The intention? Anyone who knows how to get that ball the fastest from A to B wins a cup. There is nothing else at stake, except that horrible cup.
“I hate Dutch people!”
Aran Bade finds the program very boring by Jan Versteegh presented by Jan Versteegh. “You see it happening far too much at SBS 6 that so many of those Dutch people participate,” he grumbles at the desk of RTL Boulevard.
Colleague Daphne Bunskoek joking, pointing to their own Dutch Conduct: “Oh, I hate BN’ers. Hahahaha.”
Aran: “I think Dutch people really like, but not in those game programs. I would rather see the enthusiasm of a family who will set up an Eco camp in Croatia with children in I leave. I like that and that scores too.”
Hopeless
However, Let’s Play Ball is rid of Arans Zaplijstje. “That is really a hopeless program. 442 thousand viewers saw it. Then you think: Mwoah, maybe it is not too bad, but it is pretty good in itself because people are still on vacation, but I think that is swept off the card when the other large programs like I leave come on a channel.”
He continues: “Have you seen it? Well, I watched and it is a hopeless obstacle program in which Fajah Lourens pushes a ball with her beautician.”
Aimless
Aran finds the absurd television. “By the way, that beautician got a blackout and had to be fired with the ambulance, so it’s not without risk, but it’s a aimless program. They push that ball, you don’t know where they end, I don’t think that’s a success.”
He concludes: “The cup says everything. When you see it, you know what they are doing for.”
