There is a lot of fuss about the falling viewing figures and the monotonous line-up of Muziekfeest on the square. Is it time to exchange Jan Smit as a presenter? “They have to go for Frans Bauer.”

TV Autority Tina Nijkamp has released considerable a lot with her complaint about music party on the square. The viewing figures of the music show are under pressure and that is because the program has gone too far from the popular viewer. For example, countless episodes are being made this season from the Amsterdam ring road. A big mistake.

“It’s so weird”

Tina also points out that the same artists are constantly on stage at Muziekfeest. According to Juicekanaal Juice Channel, presenter Jan Smit has a big finger in the porridge and, for example, he stipulated that his sister Monique, with whom he is upset, is no longer allowed to perform.

One thing is certain and that is that the viewing figures of Muziekfeest are under pressure. “It’s so strange, because the Dutch song is more popular than ever,” says Evert Santegoeds in the podcast Strictly private. “They are those wave movements and there is now a huge peak in it, but the viewers of Muziekfeest on the square all drop out.”

“There is something wrong”

If the Dutch song is more popular than ever, but Jan sees all the viewers of Muziekfeest run away on the square, then according to Evert, it is time for a hand in his own bosom. “Then there is something wrong with your program if you don’t benefit from it?”

Evert thinks Jan should get out. “Nobody says that there should not be such a program, but give it a new injection with a new presenter. Indeed, perhaps Frans Bauer who suggested himself. Go away with that Volendam clique, because we are constantly hearing that at 100% NL.”

Downplay

Does Evert think that rumor is that Jan keeps his sister out there? “I don’t know how far it goes, but it could just be. That quarrel with Monique is striking, although they both deny it a little or downplay.”

“I know what has been going on there, but I have already told that at this place.”
