Fit again? The actor was spotted on a yacht.
Actor Jamie Foxx (“Django Unchained”) has been spotted in public for the first time since his prolonged hospital stay. In April 2023, his family announced that Foxx was being treated for a “medical emergency.” In the US metropolis of Chicago, however, he appeared to be in the best of health again.
The US portal “TMZ” published footage on which the Oscar winner can be seen on board a yacht on the Chicago River. Foxx looks fit in the 19-second video, even waving to fans on shore and on other boats. Furthermore, the 55-year-old is said to have been out and about in the city in the north of the USA on Saturday (July 8th).
It is also unclear why Jamie Foxx had to undergo treatment in the spring. His family only spoke on social media that the reasons were probably serious and that fans should “pray for Jamie”. In May, however, his daughter Corinne Foxx gave the all-clear. Her father left the hospital weeks ago and is on the mend.
The impact Foxx’s health status has on his long-planned drama series about boxer Mike Tyson is also unknown.
