Jamal Musiala has been missing from Bayern since the beginning of April. Now the offensive player has betrayed his comeback plan.

After his muscle bundle tear, Jamal Musiala works on his return and wants to return to the club World Cup. In conversation with the “Sport Bild”, the national player of FC Bayern said: “I have a big goal: the club World Cup. Because there is a lot of prestige, income for the club and a new, international title. And we want to win it! I want to be on the pitch again in the USA.”

The 22-year-old injured himself at the away game in Augsburg in early April and then had to watch in the Champions League against Inter Milan. “Passing out the departure on TV, it really hurt,” he told the “Sport Bild”. “I suffered with the boys, I think that despite the failures we fought well and deserved more,” said Musiala.

According to the TV broadcaster Sky, the downtime of the offensive player should be about eight weeks. The club World Cup is scheduled in the United States from June 14 to July 13. The Nations League final round has previously taken place in Germany – from June 4th to June 8th in Munich and Stuttgart. Musiala plays a central role in the national team of national coach Julian Nagelsmann.
