Jahn Regensburg was able to make a hook on two personal details on Friday: Michael Wimmer, who was most recently under contract with Motherwell in Scotland, was under contract and whose arrival at the SSV had already indicated at the end of the week. With Nico Ochojski (26), the Upper Palatinate also announced a departure from the player in the player after relegation to the 3rd division.

The time of full -back Ochojski began with an injury in the summer near Jahn Regensburg and after weeks of missing it ends again. The full-back contract with the second division relegated was only dissolved after one year. “My time in Regensburg did not go as hoped. Nevertheless, I would like to thank SSV Jahn for the experiences that I gained this season,” said Ochojski as a farewell to Jahn. He stood nine times in the 2nd league on the square, only twice in the starting XI. Injury problems had always taken him out of the game for some time. “Together we decided that a new challenge is the right step for him,” said Beierlorzer.
Jahn coach Wimmer defeated Glasgow Rangers
The fact that the coaching post that was freed by Andreas Patz can be filled by Wimmer in the coming third division season was still required to clarify Motherwell FC, in which Wimmer took over in February. The team from North Lanarkshire ended the regular season as in the two previous years as a table eight and kept in the descent playoffs largely harmless. As a seasonal highlight under Wimmer, Motherwell celebrated a 2-1 away win at the Glasgow Rangers. Regensburg should have to pay a transfer fee to the Scots for the 44-year-old.
The SSV Jahn was very badly launched in the lower house, won only one game in the first nine games and only scored one goal all the time – negative record in the 2nd division. On the 10th matchday, three own goals then scored, but there was also enough goals in the 3: 8 in Nuremberg to finally get coach Joe Enochs to get his job. Successor Patz was responsible until the 32nd matchday and had the club dreamed of a catch -up hunt again late in the season. After the descent, the move into the cup round of 16 (under Patz) with a 1-0 victory against Fürth remains the greatest success of the season.
