Not only Ismael Saibari is on Bayern Munich’s wish list. The club is also interested in back Sergiño Dest. There are no negotiations with PSV yet, but according to German sources, Bayern is one of the clubs that has expressed interest in the right back to Dest’s entourage. Things are going very fast with Saibari’s transfer. Agent Ali Dursun was spotted on Tuesday afternoon at the Philips Stadium, where he was for a top meeting.

Saibari himself has already agreed with Bayern Munich. The conditions of the German club do not pose any problem for him. Logical too, because Bayern is a club he really wants to go to and can of course pay his salary. It is more logical than exciting that that step has already been taken. Saibari did not seem impressed either, as he scored twice for Morocco in the 4-0 friendly win against Madagascar on Tuesday.

Much more important to him is that Bayern and PSV reach an agreement. Bayern are reportedly considering an initial offer that comes close to a record transfer for PSV, which could amount to around 48 million euros (including bonuses). PSV will probably not immediately say yes to that and so it is up to Dursun to find a deal.

Teze and Lang also sold via ‘Dursun’

The experienced agent usually succeeds in this. Last year it took a while for Noa Lang, Napoli and PSV to reach a final agreement, but the deal was completed (for more than 25 million euros). Dursun also managed to bring Jordan Teze to AS Monaco two years ago, for quite a bit of money (12 million euros).

After all, it is a considerably larger deal, which can and should yield PSV a huge amount of money. Saibari was recently voted best player of the 2025-2026 season in the Vriendenloterij Eredivisie and has delivered in all competitions, including internationally. That is why Bayern Munich also wants to strike and preferably before the World Cup starts. A medical examination can take place in the United States, if necessary.

Millions for Dest

The most important thing is a ‘yes’ from PSV and we are now waiting for that. As soon as the clubs have agreed, the transfer can be prepared and Bayern can focus on the next targets. One of them is Dest, who will probably only make a permanent move abroad after the World Cup.

Foreign clubs expect a price of around 20 to 25 million euros, well-established sources in the football industry report. It is not yet certain whether it will actually be Bayern. But Dest is on the list in Bavaria and it is expected that the Germans will first want to sell a player after Saibari’s transfer.

It is quite possible that PSV will first reach the upper end of the amount mentioned above for Dest, especially if Dest were to ‘explode’ at the World Cup. It is a given that backs are usually paid less than attackers.
