The new hall will have a capacity of 1,500 standing people and 600 seated visitors. But Stip, the largest opposition party in Izegem, fears that the new hall will be too small. The city doubts that. “We have a narrow, medium and large setup with a foyer and standing and seating. We have taken into account all the requirements of the associations,” says Alderman Bogaert.

Hall ISO will close its doors for good at the end of May 2024 and will also be demolished later that year. The new hall should open its doors in the summer of 2025. In the meantime, the city, together with the residents, is looking for a name for the new hall.
