He prefers not to do it. Only once. Double pack in Fürth, double pack against Bochum, hat trick against Münster, the Croatian goal from Betzenberg Ivan Predalien home win. I’m a goalscorer. So everyone expects a lot of hits from me. Predalien scored almost half of Lauterer’s goals himself. Eight goals in eight games. He does it with his left. He also hits with his strong right foot and especially likes to use his head. The Croatian has been playing in Kaiserslautern since the summer and is already one of the team’s leaders.
In the run-up to a game. Someone who also chooses the right words in the cabin. That’s why it’s a really important part of our team, also when it comes to leadership.
The 29-year-old has big goals for the Red Devils. We stroll through the FCK Museum with him and stop at the jersey of Lautern striker legend Miroslav Klose.
He is really really big big.
He is a great goalscorer. We had a good conversation before our game against Nuremberg. I think he likes me too. Our careers are difficult to compare, but perhaps I can be as successful as he was here in Kaiserslautern. In the top game of the second division, the future Klose will first go hunting for goals against Hertha. An opponent to suit the goal getter’s taste. It’s not easy to play against big teams, but sometimes these games are more open, more technical and that suits me. Ivan Predalien is excited for the game against Hertha and excited for the Betzenberg. When you see this backdrop with around 50,000 fans, you can only be happy and grateful to play for this club, for which he would like to score again against Berlin. Preferably in the usual Predalien manner. Not just once.
