Italy-Norway, Norwegian fan harassed in the bathrooms: a cleaner investigated

Harassed in the San Siro bathrooms during the Italy-Norway match: this is what a 24-year-old Norwegian student, enrolled at a Milanese university, claims. The girl was at the stadium together with a group of compatriots to watch the match, when, feeling unwell, she went to the services accompanied by a friend, who however remained outside the bathrooms. In her reconstruction she would have been approached and groped by a cleaning boy.

Visibly shaken, the student then recognized the boy, a 25-year-old Egyptian, reporting him to a steward who stopped him and accompanied him to the facility’s police station. The Egyptian was under investigation for sexual assault. The 25-year-old denied the accusations to the officers, saying that he had only approached the girl because he had noticed that she was unwell. The police are looking for other witnesses to clarify what happened.
