Italian driver Francesco Bagnaia wins the MotoGP Malaysian Grand Prix!



Ducati Lenovo’s Italian driver Francesco Bagnaia won the 19th leg of the MotoGP World Championship, the Malaysian Grand Prix.


In the most important organization of motorcycle races, the 19th challenge of the season was held over 20 laps on the 5.5-kilometer track with the same name as Sepang.


Starting from the 9th pocket, Bagnaia saw the checkered flag in the first place and achieved the 7th win of the season and the 11th win of his career.


Enea Bastianini (Gresini team), who crossed the finish line 0.27 seconds after Bagnaia, took the 2nd place, and last year’s champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha), 2.77 seconds behind the leader, took the 3rd place.


With this result, Bastianini, the leader of the pilots’ classification, increased his score to 258, increasing the gap with his closest follower Quartararo to 23 points.


The 20th and final race of the season, the Valencia Grand Prix, will be held on 6 November.
