Egypt looks like the winner against Belgium for a long time. But then a Belgian joker brings the turning point, at least indirectly, after just a few seconds.

Belgium and Egypt failed to find a winner in an intense World Cup preliminary round duel. In sunny temperatures in the Seattle Stadium, the Egyptians led by superstar Mohamed Salah took the lead in the 19th minute through Emam Ashour and looked like the more dangerous team for a long time. But the Belgians turned up the heat in the second half. Just a few seconds after his substitution, it was Belgium striker Kante Romelu Lukaku who, after receiving a cross in the six-yard box, fought a duel with two Egyptian defenders, forcing Mohamed Hany to score an own goal (66th minute). Both teams then tried to score the winning goal, but neither team was able to score it.
