The Pizza Point emoticon is no longer as innocent as you think. On Tiktok, the emoji is abused for spreading images of child abuse. This is the conclusion of a study by the French news channel TF1. “We just scrolled on. It just didn’t stop,” says the journalist who exposed the dark side of the pizza piece. But the meaning of the emoji of a simple purple or yellow heart is no longer the same since the Netflix series Adolescence.
