Israel asks Taylor Swift to help find teenage soldier

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has officially used its X account to ask Taylor Swift to help find young soldier Roni Eshel. The tweet said: “We are sending this message to the world with the hope that it reaches @taylorswift13.”

The message to Taylor Swift is: “It would mean the world to Roni’s family if Taylor could use her platform to bring Roni home.”

Swiftie community helps search for Israeli soldier

Roni Eshel had served as a communications observer at a military base near Kibbutz Nahal Oz for the past year and a half. She was part of the team of soldiers who monitored the cameras at the high-tech border barrier that was breached by Hamas.

The Israeli Swiftie community is now supporting the search by wearing bracelets with the name of the missing person at The Eras Tour screenings in Israel to raise awareness of the disappearance and help locate Roni Eshel.

The musician has not yet responded to the posting.
