Dow Jones-The activity in the US industry accelerated in June, according to ISM. The purchasing manager index of the processing industry calculated by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) increased to 49.0 (previous month: 48.5) points. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires forecast an increase to 48.6. The mood barometer is therefore below the brand of 50 points, from which it signals a shrinking.

Among the strongly regarded subindices, the one for new orders fell to 46.4 (previous month: 47.6), the one for employment went back to 45.0 (previous month: 46.8).

The index for production took 50.3 (previous month: 45.4), while the subindex of prices exposed an increase to 69.7 (previous month: 69.4).
