Isabel Marant opens largest flagship in New York

French brand Isabel Marant has opened a new store in New York on Madison Avenue. It is the brand’s second store in the US city and the largest in its retail network.

The store is located next to Central Park and offers a sales area of 275 square meters spread over two floors. There you will find the collections for women and men as well as accessories and shoes. The slightly cheaper Isabel Marant Étoile line is also available in the store.

The store concept is based on that of the brand’s other stores in a typically bohemian style. Designed by the founder, her studio and young designers, visitors immerse themselves in a sophisticated cabinet of curiosities. The color palette is clear: neutral and soft tones are complemented by bright colors.

For this new address, the brand has once again enlisted the talents of artist Arnold Goron, who designed the centerpiece of the space, a large bright pink table on which the main accessories from the new collection are presented, and a colored metal sculpture at the foot of the stairs designed.

As Isabel Marant explained to WWD, the store is aimed at both her own generation, who have grown up with the French label over the past 30 years, and the new generation. Prices for Isabel Marant pieces range from 520 euros for a denim jacket, 80 euros for hoop earrings, 850 euros for a dress and 950 euros for leather boots.

According to WWD, the brand plans to open stores in Chicago, Atlanta and Houston. There are now more than 800 sales outlets worldwide.
