Kalle Rovanperä is next aiming for the royal class of motorsport, Formula 1. Janne Palomäki
Suffered from health problems last week and is preparing for the Super Formula series Kalle Rovanperä feels better already, says Ilta-Sanomat.
Rovanperä’s manager Timo Jouhki told the magazine that Rovanperä’s positional dizziness symptoms have eased.
– The symptoms have clearly eased. The message I received was not very clear, but I understood that he no longer has symptoms. I don’t know if he is completely fine, Jouhki told IS.
Rovanperä said on Instagram last week that he received a driving ban from the doctor for the rest of the week due to health reasons.
– During the midday break, I got symptoms of benign postural dizziness, which affects my sense of balance, Rovanperä announced at the time.
The two-time rally world champion had to leave the Super Formula tests because of this.
Jouhki gave IS a positive assessment of the young driver’s situation. He believes that Rovanperä can drive in New Zealand in the first round of the Oceania Formula Regional series in January. The series starts on January 9.
The suspension of last week’s tests upset Rovanperä. The manager told IS that the test would have been important for the Finn, because he has no experience with formula cars.
