Foxconn’s turnover increased by 11 percent in the third quarter to converted nearly 58 billion euros. Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, announced this on Sunday.

Foxconn is still dependent on Apple for a significant part of his turnover. Among other things, it puts iPhones together for the American tech group. But because the sales of iPhones no longer grow as spectacularly as in the past, the company is becoming increasingly dependent on the AI tree.

Threat

The trade war that US President Donald Trump has unleashed is a threat to Foxconns success. Trump has announced plans for a rate of 100 percent on the import of chips. But the president also promised to release companies that move their production to the US.

Foxconn is therefore busy expanding its capacity to make servers in the US. It receives support from Apple and Nvidia.
