The Handelsverbund Intersport Deutschland eG is at the top for personnel continuity.

On Tuesday, the company announced that the board contracts with CEO Alexander von Preen and Thomas Storck, the deputy chairman of the board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), were extended by the supervisory board until 2029. Both will continue to form the leadership trio of Intersport Germany together with Chief Operating Officer (COO) Henriette Tesch.

Supervisory Council leader Oliver Krumholz justified the personnel decision with the latest positive developments. “With our strategy ‘Best in Sports: Up for Future’ we are on the right track,” he emphasized in a statement. “In the currently troubled times, it is important to be able to continue the personnel stability at the top and thus to further force our successful strategy. Because of this, I am looking forward to three years of working with Dr. Alexander von Preen and with Thomas Storck.”
