René van der Gijp no longer wants to sit next to Wierd Duk in today. That the Telegraaf journalist is now becoming his regular replacement on Wednesday evenings is to Johan Derksen. “That’s taste.”
It seems that Wierd Duk has been chosen to become the new regular replacement of René van der Gijp, who has been free every Wednesday evening to work on his marriage since this year. Even Gijp is not so enthusiastic about that, because he thinks that today inside will be a far too serious program. Johan Derksen is happy with that.
“It’s taste”
Does it make René sad? “Do you know what it is?” He says in the podcast Kieftjansenegmondgijp. “It is a pity that such a person no longer knows where the power of the program is. That is a shame, but on the other hand you also have to deal with someone who has a certain age. I am not going to explain it. I don’t need that at all.”
“Do you know what it is? Everything that happens on TV and what is said on TV; it is very often taste. It is very often personal preference. If he says to me:” I think Wierd Duk is good, “I just don’t say anything. I just keep my mouth shut. It is taste. It has nothing to do with whether it is better or worse, and about taste is not to argue.”
“Not next to me!”
René has only one requirement: that he does not have to sit next to Wierd. “I am very easy for that. I just said,” I don’t really like him next to me. ” I don’t like him next to me.
According to him, Wierd’s statements about immigration are populist. “Is there nobody in the Netherlands who understands and understands that we don’t determine here at all how many are coming in and out? That is Europe. If everything the Wierd Duks want from this world … I have my blessing, hey, but get out!”
Sink
According to René, ‘the spots’ runs with opinion makers like Wierd. “People have the idea that if they have an opinion about Gaza, that opinion really matters. It doesn’t matter at all! Not at all, you know.”
The Telegraaf journalist is very pronounced on this theme. “In recent months I thought: you know, it is starting to work a bit on my laughing muscles, those types. It’s pedantic, yes.”
Keep up
Johan Derksen leaves in his podcast at the same time Greetings from Grolloo To know that he is overjoyed with Wierd. “I am very bad for Wierd Duk, because I think we should stay up to date.”
The VI-snor continues: “With the elections, he is a very good insider in Dutch politics, but also very well aware of all the hot spots in the world. In fact, we can’t do without Wierd Duk.”
Hobby horses
Wierd is just a winner, says Johan. “Hélène sent me another email from her holiday address:” How is it possible that people are all so difficult about Wierd Duk? That is a great guest for a talk show! “
He concludes: “I have his opinion and I don’t always agree with him, because the maniacal way in which he chooses Israel completely disagree with that. But it leads to discussion and that is the goal of the program. You know that at Wierd. We all have our hobby horses.”
