There is no Nerazzurri who does not know that nice smile behind the sometimes small glasses, or his dexterity in pulling his cell phone out and resuming what happens around him, with uncommon humanity and a reporter spirit. Whether he is a player or an Inter manager, accustomed to a selfie with him outside the hotels, or a simple fan who handle social media, everyone knows who Biagio Privitera is, simply called “biapri”, as per successful account. Catanese born in 1958, residing in Rome, a former success manager now retired, is the largest globetrotter among the Inter fans: there is no city of Italy, in Europe and now in the world in which Inter play without even getting to cheering (and filming). Indeed, often it goes further, on the way it also follows spring and women’s Inter, just to not miss some other additional journey. Given the premises, not even a tip in the United States could not be missing for this first world historian for club.

Here in Seattle, but also in Los Angeles, the Nerazzurri presence is truly sparuting, especially if compared to the waves of rival fans: it does not help the distance, it does not help post-monk depression, so only a few started from Italy, while for the Nerazzurri already resident in the United States it was easier to arrive in these parts. Privitera will be 67 years old in October and, in her first life always with strong black and blue colors, she has been managers of Procter & Gamble for 38 years (P&G), a large American multinational that produces and markets a wide range of consumer goods. He worked in 5 different nations: first Italy, then 14 years abroad of which three and a half in Russia, three and a half in France, five in London and two in Geneva, then in 2010 the Roman quiet and … Inter. “Since I returned to Italy I have been able to start following my heart team almost always, everywhere: to be honest, even before I went back and forth often …”, continues Privitera.
With almost 50 thousand followers on Instagram and another 20 thousand on YouTube, he created around him a colorful and useful community: he gives support for any need to the away fans and also at San Siro, he documents every single step of his thousand Nerazzurri trips, makes long videos. “Always with a smile, in compliance with the other fans and to support our kids: I can’t stand those who bring negativity to the team, now for example the time just to support Chivu …”, he adds. Many, however, support him, given that on the streets of Seattle was stopped by some American, Canadian and also Asian followers: his way of cheering has now gone beyond the Nerazzurri. Almost nobody, however, will be able to beat his loyalty records: only this season, starting from Rome, Biapri has made 65 thousand kilometers, always and only to follow Inter. Just to be understood, the circumference of the earth is around 40 thousand long.
