Inter, Inzaghi after Bologna: the coach’s words

The Inter coach after the defeat in Bologna: “We played better in the second half, but we conceded a goal that can’t be conceded at a time when we weren’t suffering. We’re angry”

Here we go again. Inter slides into a match on paper that can’t be missed and finds itself once again having to deal with a subdued away match, yet another goal conceded away from Giuseppe Meazza and an increasingly crowded race for the Champions League. Simone Inzaghi is disappointed at the end of the match: “We approached the match badly – explained the coach -, with an insufficient first half not like Inter. In the second half we took the measures and were creating, but we conceded a goal that we shouldn’t take moment when we weren’t suffering. We’re angry, we need to do more.”

The words

The very busy schedule certainly doesn’t help, but Inzaghi isn’t looking for an alibi: “We need to find motivation every two or three days. We all have to do more, I primarily that I’m the coach”. When there is a bus to take to reach another stadium, Inter often becomes an incomplete one: “The away data is significant, we are excellent at home and insufficient away. We analyzed it with the boys and talked about it, last year we did better and now we’ve eaten up the advantage over the others. Now we have to be good in the last 14 games”. The Nerazzurri haven’t lacked opportunities, but it’s obviously not enough for a team with European ambitions: “A goal from Calhanoglu or Dzeko’s actions would mean talking about something else, but we have to repeat that you need to do more. Concentration and determination must always be maintained, every two and a half days. The first half will be a reason for analysis, we have to be lucid to understand the reasons, we didn’t play almost anything.”
