Inter drops points in the title race

The Italian football champions Inter Milan are losing ground in the fight to successfully defend their Serie A title.

The club of national player Robin Gosens, who came on as a substitute in the second half, did not get beyond a 1-1 (0-1) draw at FC Torino on the 29th matchday.

Inter are third in the table four points behind city rivals AC, who beat FC Empoli 1-0. SSC Napoli, who won 2-1 at Hellas Verona, is one point ahead of the Nerazzurri. However, Inter played one game less than the top duo.

The Brazilian Bremer (12th) gave Torino the lead, and in the third minute of added time Joaquin Correa saved the big favorite from Milan at least a point.

Inter, who lost to Liverpool in the Champions League round of 16 during the week, have won just one of their last six league games.
