Infrabel is allowed to borrow one billion euros to invest in the Belgian railway network, and thus increase the number of trains and passengers. The federal government has given the green light for this, reports Minister of Mobility Georges Gilkinet. The money will be used, among other things, to eliminate various ‘bottlenecks’ on the railway.
