Singh Kushwaha, who is still in preschool, has achieved a FIDE score of 1572, corresponding to an advanced, above-average chess player. By achieving a FIDE score, the toddler has broken the previous age record set by his compatriot Anish Sarkar in November. Sarkar was three years, eight months and nineteen days old at the time.
Singh Kushwaha’s father has called his son’s achievement “a matter of great honor and pride.” “We hope he becomes a chess grandmaster.”
