You don’t necessarily have to drive all the way to Limburg for fresh asparagus. In the asparagus season (until the end of June) they are simply for sale in Zoetermeer. If you’re still at this cozy farm shop: take a box of strawberries with you right away.

From Friday 24 March, the farm shop at Hoeve Magdalena at Meerpolder 22 will be open again. The white gold comes from Meer Asperges from Limburg.
Along the N206
From the N206, the road between Zoetermeer and Leiden, the signs and the strawberry and bunch of asparagus in large format can be seen from afar. In the store you will find asparagus in different thicknesses, quality and prices, and homemade asparagus soup. There are boxes with fresh strawberries in the refrigerator.
The store Hoeve Magdalena at Meerpolder 22 is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am. The business closes at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
