The head of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, addressed the population, in which he called on people to evacuate to Russia as soon as possible.
“In order to prevent casualties among the civilian population, I call on residents of the republic who do not have mobilization orders, as well as are not involved in the life support of social and civilian infrastructure, to leave for the territory of the Russian Federation as soon as possible,” he said.
Previously a similar statement was made by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin. According to him, since February 18, the evacuation of women, children and the elderly has been organized in the republic. It is assumed that the refugees will be placed on the territory of the Rostov region of Russia.
Earlier it was reported that in recent days significantly increased number of shellings of settlements DPR and LPR by the Ukrainian military.
