IN PICTURE. The unique outfit of Olivia, a hip Pauline and a shiny Sam Ryder: artists shine at Q-Pop | Showbiz

ShowbizThe cream of the Flemish artist world will be present at the first edition of Q-Pop on Saturday evening. Bazart, Camille, Regi, Pommelien Thijs, Metejoor and Berre, among others, give the best of themselves in the Antwerp Sportpaleis. International toppers such as Eurovision revelation Sam Ryder and British singer-songwriter Tom Grennan will also perform during the grand party of radio station Qmusic. One thing was already clear on the red carpet: Famous Flanders – just like Sam Ryder – did not look at a sequin more or less. “If there’s a night where you can stand out, it’s this one,” it sounded unanimously.

The gentlemen of Bazart, trendy as always. Mathieu Terryn finished off his outfit with dark nail polish. “I liked that,” said the singer.

The most radiant appearance on the red carpet? No doubt Olivia. “This outfit was specially made for me by Cilem Tunc,” says the singer. “I really wanted to shine on the red carpet, and then such a gold-colored outfit is a good choice. Moreover, I recently got copper-colored hair, and that fits – I think – nicely together.”

Olivia’s hair also got an extra festive touch. “When I was in the Sportpaleis with Regi, I had diamonds in my hair,” it sounds. “I wanted to do that again today because it really finishes off my look.”

Not an outfit with too much glitter, but nice and cool: the look of Berre. “I haven’t thought about it too long,” he smiles. “I am especially happy that I can also stand here today, among all those great artists.”

Reg and Pauline came to the red carpet together. “This dress was not made especially for me, but I really thought it was something for me,” the singer laughs. “If you are in the Sportpaleis, you are allowed shine. Besides, it’s been Regi’s shows since I was on stage. So I really want to rock tonight!”

Dutchman Flemming did not have to walk the red carpet empty-handed: he won two prizes. “How cool, thank you to everyone who supports me,” it sounded elated.

British singer-songwriter Tom Grennan was very interested in it. “I’m very happy to be here, but I don’t know any of your stars,” he said apologetically.

She wouldn’t reveal which designer was responsible for her look, but Camille luckily wanted to pose for our photographer.

“My outfit has a sixties vibe, but I haven’t thought about it for that long,” laughs Pommelien Thijs. “I went shopping before the show in a thrift store, where I found this dress. I then cut off a piece, et voila!”
