In the neighborhood of Palermo, Buenos Aires, the first facial gym in the country has just been inaugurated: an exclusive space dedicated to facial muscle training with the aim of toning, lifting and rejuvenating the face naturally, without surgeries or injections. The place, which has already gone viral on social networks, offers sessions guided by “face fitness” specialists and promises visible results with consistency, similar to what happens with traditional body training.
The center, located in the most trendy area of the capital, offers individual and group classes where participants perform specific exercises to strengthen more than 50 facial muscles. Techniques taught include face yoga, lymphatic drainage massages, finger resistance exercises, and postures to relax the jaw and reduce tension. Each session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and a frequency of 2 to 3 times a week is recommended.
According to the founders of the space, the concept comes to Argentina inspired by trends that are already all the rage in the United States, Brazil and Europe, where the “facial gym” is positioned as a natural alternative to botox and fillers. “The face can also be trained. With consistency, you achieve more definition in the facial oval, reduction of double chin, fewer expression lines and a more rested appearance,” they explain.
The launch of the facial gym generated a wave of reactions on social networks. While some users celebrated the novelty (“Finally something to lift cheekbones without a scalpel”, “Goodbye to the eternally tired face”), others expressed skepticism or irony: “Now am I also going to have to do forehead squats?”, “How long until the ear gym?” The publications with videos of the classes already accumulate thousands of views and comments divided between curiosity and humor.
The price of the sessions is around $15,000 to $20,000 per individual class, with monthly packages that lower the cost per session. The center also offers introductory workshops and personalized advice for at-home routines. With the growing demand for non-invasive aesthetic treatments, the first facial gym in Argentina seeks to position itself as an accessible and fun option for those looking to take care of their face through movement and not only from the operating room.
For now, reservations are open and the first weeks already have a waiting list, which confirms that “face fitness” is here to stay in the Buenos Aires wellness scene.
