In EP proposed to punish for refusing to work with banks under sanctions

“United Russia” will soon prepare amendments to the legislation providing for criminal liability for Russian companies for “implementation of Western sanctions”, including for refusing to work with banks that have fallen under the restrictions. About it in Telegram declared Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak.

According to him, there are cases when Russian companies, including those with state participation, refuse to work with sub-sanctioned banks “under the pretext that they themselves risk falling under restrictions.” In addition, some “unscrupulous competitors” actively disseminate calls not to work with companies under sanctions, he added.

“We propose to establish strict, including criminal, liability for such entities and their leaders for following and implementing Western sanctions. For actually direct complicity in the deterioration of the economic situation,” Turchak wrote.

The material is being added.
