On Friday, TPS had a place to cut off the semi-finals against Ilves and advance to the League finals. However, this did not happen, as the people of Tampere won 3–0.

TPS was the replacement Andrei Karejevin off between the posts and took Eetu Anttilan in place of. Head coach Jussi Ahokas comments on the solution in special terms.

– Rest time only. No wonder. Our goalkeeper coach was really angry.

– I do not know. Anttila played really well. Let’s see who we play with, Ahokas said at the press conference without further explanation.

TPS shot more in the match but did not score. Ilves, on the other hand, had a terrible day.

– We lost the puck in the middle in vain, and we didn’t get deep attacks. The lynx was effective in places. We gave a few stupid superiority attacks because of the puck game. It needs to be petrified.

For the lynx, the game was a big success other than the series going on. Before Friday, the people of Tampere had scored only one goal in the semi-finals.

In the fifth match, all goals came in the most even. It warmed the head coach Jouko Myrrän opinion.

– When you work, play the puck towards the goal and take the necessary support, you will start to sink from there.

– Winning was a big deal for us. Each player in the Ilves shirt put everything in the league as needed.

Ahokas, however, does not bang his braces.

– The fight continues. We know this can be a long series. We need one more attachment. We play our best game on Saturday.
