Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım, who made a statement at the ceremony and could not control his tears at these moments, said: “I met him 46 years ago. We served together for many years, he was a very good friend of mine. We were together under the management of Metin Aşık in 1990. When I became president, he was always with us. We fought together. He also has his signature under all the works we did. He was my friend, my companion. I wish God’s mercy on him. My condolences to his family. I express my condolences to this community. “He will not forget you,” he said.
Fenerbahçe Supreme Council Board Chairman Şekip Mosturoğlu said, “We are sending our brother Köksal off to his eternal journey, we are very sorry.
