Additionally, 5 judicial branches work with Pago TIC for their auctions: Córdoba, San Luis, Entre Ríos, La Pampa, Jujuy.

Nationwide, more than three million people made their payments through the platform.

Who do you compete with at the national level?

We do not have direct competitors, only partial or indirect competitors in some by-products in some markets. But there is no solution that has the versatility, forcefulness and comprehensiveness of Pago TIC.

What are the differentiating advantages of Pago TIC compared to other digital payment platforms?

Since 2013, Pago TIC has provided a technological solution to increase the collection of all types of entities, with extensive experience in different verticals.

It is one of the few Argentine companies that has the highest global certification for PCI Level 1 card processing and in 2022 they extended their respect to society and the environment, measuring the impact of their carbon footprint by donating trees to the Andean forest and Carhué to via Sello Alpha.

In 2022, the company also obtained ISO 9001: 2015 certification from IRAM in its Quality Management System, whose scope is to respond to queries and complaints from paying customers.

The company has its own call center for both entities and their clients, which allows establishing a closer link with payers and entities that collect digitally through its technology.

With the aim of taking care of the paying user, Pago TIC installed the concept of Respectful Payment in the market.

What would that concept of “Respectful Payment” be?

Our “Respectful Payment” concept prioritizes the user’s right to know what, when, how and how much will be debited from their account for the payment of their taxes or recurring fees. This is demonstrated by our experience in Córdoba, where almost 50% of Córdoba residents pay their taxes, services or recurring fees through our platform.

For us, the success of growing for 10 years competing against giants with infinite wallets lies in listening to the customer looking for unmet needs.

Managing other people’s money is a great responsibility, as a company, we are prepared to lose money but not to have other types of legal problems, that is why we religiously comply with all regulations even if they do not exist in other countries and even if it causes us to lose a large number of clients. (1 in 3 clients is rejected for not adapting to our ethical code). To give you an idea of ​​what I’m saying: we do not operate for lenders, the gaming industry, or compulsive sales companies and this means we have a stable business of first-line clients.

Why should entities trust Pago TIC?

Almost all fintechs are born with foreign investment funds and, when they run out of money, they go bankrupt or have serious problems continuing operations and providing quality service. In our case, Pago TIC, is 10 years old. We are all national entrepreneurs and we have always been a profitable company from the beginning. Foreign investment in our company is minimal.

We have alliances with banks and operators, which are actors that resell our services or refer clients to us.

Are they only in Argentina?

Pago TIC has already processed the first transactions in Mexico, reaching more than 30,000 operations, and we have recently established Pago TIC Spain.

We currently have 70 employees in the company, with a projection of increasing our staff of collaborators by 50% over the course of the year.

Does Pago TIC want to end the use of cash in Argentina?

Our purpose is to provide the convenience of all payment systems and democratize payment methods in Argentina. Today 25% of the Argentine population lives in a location other than their place of origin and 5% lives abroad. These citizens still have tax or service obligations in the cities or towns where they were born, and digital payment gives them the convenience of paying them. For example, in Villa Allende (Córdoba) the digital payment of taxes increased by 30%.

Why should an entity have a collection platform like Pago TIC?

Because it can offer multiple payment methods and modalities, centralizing all reconciliation on the same platform that, in addition to being simple, is 100% secure and digital. In this way you solve your management and that of your client, without maintenance costs.

What other services, in addition to collection, do you offer your clients?

Automatic debit, in-person payment through POS terminals, DEBIN, payment with QR, timely payments with debit card, credit and for in-person payment.

Corporate cards. We offer a service that allows each entity to have its own preloaded international Mastercard cards to cover corporate fleet, equipment or representation expenses.

Finally, how much do you charge those entities that want to use your services?

The commission is less than 1%. For high volumes with some banks we charge 0. The cost is only for each successful transaction.
